Sunshine Elixir – Antioxidant Face Oil

Description Sunshine Elixir – Antioxidant Face Oil is perfect for sun-damaged skin. I created this blend last winter (2022) when I found my Rosehip & Jojoba Face Oil, which I have loved and used for the past nine years, wasn’t moisturising enough.  As we know, skin changes over time, and I’m heading into my late 40s and started having drier skin for the first time ever!  I started creating in the studio with the plants I know to exhibit anti-inflammatory properties and bursting with natural antioxidants.    I macerated into organic jojoba my homegrown calendula, comfrey root, and marshmallow root with organic turmeric and hibiscus flowers. I then added organic pomegranate, avocado, rosehip, castor seed, bakuchiol (2%), helichrysum, carrot seed, rose, ylang-ylang essential oils, and vitamin E. Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties are essential to the skin as they may help;  reduce the appearance of wrinkles, sun spots, acne and scars, even skin tone,  reduce redness, and  protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.  USE After applying ROSE FACE MIST for hydration, apply 3-5 drops of Elixir onto fingertips and press into wet face and neck.  Apply it directly onto healed scars or sun spots. The elixir is very darkly coloured due to the high levels of carotenoids and the plants’ freshness, but I found my skin absorbs the colour quickly. If you aren’t a fan of the glow it leaves on your skin, add a few drops of the elixir to your face cream, then apply.  PRICING NOTE When I ran the price analysis on this, the 20ml bottle should be $105, but to help keep it affordable, I lowered it to $74, which still seems expensive to me.
