The Laramie has a swept back cheek and a tear drop loop at the rein, which provides a very forgiving and slower pull. The shank’s features give a pre-signal for the horse when they feel the rein slide. This keeps the rider from having to engage as directly. The correction mouthpiece provides collection from the port, while the swivel encourages both flex and bend in the horse’s body.
